Our story

Shine Bright Care, LLC is locally own and operated in Anchorage Alaska. We have over 16 years of experience providing care and support services to individuals and families. Our personal experiences as direct support staff (caregivers), case managers, care coordinators and program administration is the reason clients trust their care to us. Our staff goes above and beyond. In everything that we do, Shine Bright Care, LLC values your health and wellbeing. Learn More About Lee

Mrs. Lee Keodouangdy has worked in the field of human services for over 12 years. Due to her passion for helping people, Lee attended University of Phoenix studying Human Service Administration in 2014 and 2016. She put her education on hold to pursue her dream and develop Shine Bright Care, LLC.

In 2011, she began her career as a personal care assistance. Lee is experienced in caring for children, adults and seniors who have a physical and or developmental disability. Lee has a diverse background in the human services field working also as an administration assistance and later as a care coordinator. As a care coordinator, she provided coordination of services to clients for all the waiver in the state of Alaska.

Mrs. Lee Keodouangdy has dedicated herself to the field of human services with her love and desire to see people grow and reach their true potential.

Learn More About Bay

Mr. Keodouangdy is driven by a deep-rooted expertise in providing compassionate assistance to individuals and families. His expertise in this area is a direct result of his personal experiences as a caregiver to his parents during their final years.

Both mother and father, having endured strokes, heart attacks, diabetes, dementia, hypertension, and various other complications, relied heavily on Bay and his sister for round-the-clock care. Keodouangdy recognized that despite the challenges and sacrifices, being a caregiver for their parents was an unwavering duty—one that demanded their unwavering dedication.

To meet their parents’ full-time, 24/7 care requirements, Mr. Keodouangdy and their sister tirelessly attended to every aspect of their parents’ needs. Whether it was accompanying them to medical appointments, handling cooking and cleaning duties, assisting with bathing and showering, or facilitating wheelchair-to-bed transfers, Keodouangdy and their sister provided complete support for all activities of daily living.

Though their parents have since passed away, Mr. Keodouangdy continues to carry their memory with deep affection. Fondly remembered, their parents serve as a constant source of inspiration. In hindsight, Keodouangdy acknowledges that having them back would be a selfish wish, as it would have meant prolonging their suffering instead of allowing them to live a fulfilled life. Keodouangdy takes solace in the belief that their parents now reside in heaven, watching over them with warm smiles.

Drawing from the invaluable experience gained through caring for their parents, Mr. Keodouangdy forged a path within the home care industry. They embarked on a journey as a direct support professional and swiftly progressed to a role as a case manager, consistently excelling in their responsibilities. Recognizing their natural aptitude and unwavering dedication, Keodouangdy was eventually promoted to a team leader and, subsequently, to the esteemed position of care coordinator.

It was during this time that Mr. Keodouangdy discovered their true calling, realizing that their purpose in life lay in serving others within the field of Human Services. Guided by their unwavering passion and expertise, they embarked on a quest to assist individuals and families in finding the support and services necessary to navigate the intricate web of the system, ensuring their unique needs were met. To the Keodouangdy, this honorable and rewarding task has become the cornerstone of their professional life.

    Case Manager Team Leader

    I have worked in the behavioral field for over 15 years. I started working for Shine Bright Care as a case manager in October of 2021. I began my behavioral health career as a direct provider for a different agency at an acute care behavioral hospital then transferred to a residential treatment facility. I have also worked one on one direct care with autistic children.

    I enjoy helping those that need help. I like to see the progress clients make while working on their goals. Every day is a new day that progress can be made. I appreciate the help and support of my co-workers at Shine Bright Care.

    I enjoy spending time with my wife and children. Watching sports, especially soccer. Reading. And going on trips in the summer.
